Not every job is a whole house. Often it's the parts that wear first: front doors, skirting boards, architraves and window frames. Repainting those on their own can lift a whole room or frontage without touching the walls.
Trim takes the most knocks, so it needs careful preparation: chips filled, edges sanded smooth, and a harder wearing finish on top. Window sashes and sills need loose paint removed and bare timber primed so moisture stays out.
